Dengeki Gs April 2009 Issue

The extra for this month is a mini figurine of Feena.

 

 

One of the features of this month is the making of the figure

As you can see here the process starts with the creation of the prototype using molding clay and wire for support. Then each individual piece is molded, then colored and the the details on the face are done using decals made from the computer. Then mass production happens. On the last page you can see the figurines for this month in Dengeki Gs and Dengeki Hime (post for this coming up) featuring Feena Schoolgirl ver. and Cynthia respectively, and next month in Gs and Hime Estel and Beach Feena respectively. I’m pretty impressed at the process it takes to make one of these figures and the fact that it probably happens fast since they’re doing 2  for this month then another 2 next month. Wonder what the value of the prototype is? Well I know it’s a little fast, but based on the 1 person who actually voted I’ll be handling magazine posts in mini batches with trying to keep relevant articles together and putting everything else with the main magazine post. I’ll post the rest up the stuff in this issue in relevant batches.

This Month’s Dengeki Gs magazine’s cover spotlights Yoake Mae yori Ruriiro na -Moonlight Cradle- with one of the heroines Estel Freesia on the cover. Estel made her first appearence on the PS2 version of Yoake Mae yori Ruriiro na while she is now making her debut on the PC with -Moonlight Cradle-. 

The coverage on the game includes a review of the heroines and a small summary of their respective summary routs. The extra for this month is a pencil board featuring Feena on one Side and the new heroine Cynthia Marguerite on the other.

Not bad, not bad, I for one am looking forward to the game. The reason the game’s featured on the cover probably has to do with it being ranked first this month as you can see on the image below

That’s all I got right now. I’m kinda stuck with whether I should scan the rest of the pages I planned to, or take a picture, or finding some other method of getting the images. The problem with scanning can be seen with the image above, the parts near the binding show up blurred. The problem with taking a picture with a camera is probably a slight decrease in picture quality. If anyone has a suggestion on getting better picture quality that doesn’t involve cutting out pages of the magazine I’ll try it out. (I’d take out the pages if I had a spare copy, but I don’t have that kind of money to buy an extra copy to scan)……..(unless you guys are willing to donate $15 a month for me to scan one) Well that’s just a suggestion, I can always raffle off the scan copy afterwards with its extras. In any case till I can figure a way out to properly get pictures, I’ll hold off on further images. Rest assured though, they will come out once a solution has been found!
