Summary:

Shingo talks to Sakuno at home about how he and Airi became the class representatives in his room one night. Shingo expresses his concern about getting along with Airi, but Sakuno tells him it’ll be fine because Airi is a good girl. Sakuno starts to drift off to sleep, and Shingo takes her to her room and puts her to rest. At school the next day, Airi gets upset with Shingo over little mistakes he makes. After school, Airi and Shingo do some class representative work. Shingo stares at Airi and remembers when they first met and tries to converse with Airi but gets shot down. Airi finishes her work early, while Shingo is still working on his share. Airi restates to Shingo that she will never get along with the boys and asks him to leave her alone and walks home.

Shino continues working into the night and starts to leave, but notices Pan-nya and follows him. Shingo follows Pan-nya to Miu-senpai in her clubroom. Miu’s club is called the Nuko Club, and is a club where Miu takes care of injured animals and releases them back into the wild when they’re well. Miu asks Shingo if he’s joined any clubs and invites him to join her club. The next day Airi is yelling at Shingo about some print outs, and Shingo gets thoroughly chewed out.  After class, Miu-senpai stops by Shingo’s class and Sana embraces her. Shingo is confused about Sana and Miu’s relationship and Miu informs him that Sana is also a member of the Nuko club. Sakuno also stops by to drop off Shingo’s bento since he forgot it. Sana wonders if Sakuno is Shingo’s sister, and Ange confirms it and introduces her as Uryuu Sakuno. Miu stares at Sakuno and introduces herself to her. Sana also introduces herself and says she’s something similar to Miu’s little sister. Sakuno in turn introduces herself as something similar to Shingo’s little sister. Miu also introduces Pan-nya, but Pan-nya is with Airi though Airi seems to have a hard time dealing with him. Shingo pulls Pan-nya off Airi, and comments that she’s bad with animals. Miu invites Airi to eat lunch with them but she refuses and walks away.

After school, Shingo and Airi continue doing some class representative work and Airi finishes early as usual. Shingo informs her that he’s almost done, and Airi is surprised. As they get ready to go home, Airi comments to Shingo that he was pretty fast today. Shingo tells her that he’s getting used to the work and wonders if it’s because of the expectations she has and thanks her. There’s a brief moment of silence between the two, which is then interrupted by Sakuno. Sakuno comes to invite Airi to walk home with her and Shingo. Sana stops by with Miu to also invite Airi to walk home with everyone, and Airi reluctantly accepts. On the way home, Sakuno and Airi talk. Sakuno asks Airi if she’s still against the merger, and Airi tells her that she feels bad about it but she can’t stand being around boys. Sakuno asks her if that extends to her brother as well and Airi tells her that she can’t calm down, but rather than with boys in general she feels more anxious when she’s around Shingo though she’s unsure why that is; though she tells Sakuno that she doesn’t hate him. Airi says her feelings are everywhere and she feels frustrated and wonders why Shingo is the only one that makes her feel this way.

The next day during lunch, Shingo, Hayata, Sakuno, Sana, Miu, and Ange are all having lunch together in the classroom. Miu asks if they all want to walk home together again, and Sakuno asks Shingo what they should do if they’re late. Apparently Kume-Mart is having a special sale today. Airi stops by to remind Shingo that they have a lot of work today, and Shingo remembers Airi mention that she had something to do today after school so Airi was thinking about starting some of the work during lunch.  That evening Airi gets upset with Shingo because he proposed asking someone for help with their work, but Shingo calmly states that they can’t finish with just the two of them. Airi states that this is their job as class representatives, but Shingo reminds her that she has somewhere to go. After some arguing, Shingo proposes that Airi entrust the work to him.  Shingo rationalizes that this is class representative work, and he and Airi are class representatives. So if Airi doesn’t have the time to work, then Shingo will work in her place. Airi restates that she has no intention of getting along with him, and doesn’t want to owe him anything. Shingo tells her she should just repay her debt then, and asks her to pay the interest too and ask her to tutor him for the upcoming midterm since Yuijo’s level is higher than he thought. So he’d grateful if Airi would let him do the work. Airi quietly comments to herself that what she hates the most about him, since he always causes her heart to sway.  Airi accepts Shingo’s proposal and thanks him as she leaves.

It’s nighttime by the time Shingo finishes his work. He meets Sakuno, Ange, Sana, and Miu outside; who have been waiting for Shingo so he can help carry things for them at the sale at Kume-Mart. The group arrives at Kume-Mart, and Miu and Ange are surprised at how cheap everything is. The group splits up to cover more ground. After shopping around the group is in line to pay, but Shingo remembers that there was some gel on sale that he wanted to by and quickly leaves to go get it. While getting the gel, Shingo sees Airi standing near the bento section waiting for the bentos to become half priced. Airi notices Shingo and gets embarrassed; she gets even more embarrassed when everyone else sees her.

Opinions:

I’m starting to have mixed feelings about Airi’s character. She really seems to be a tsundere in the sense that she’s completely cold to Shingo, but she’s completely oblivious as to the reason why (although it should be obvious to the viewers/player) so she has some cute blushing moments. It’s still a little irritating watching her berate Shingo one in one scene (to his face) and then blushingly admit to Sakuno that she’s unsure why Shingo is the only person who makes her frustrated. It’s not like I completely hate Airi, but characters like that make me want to see more interaction with the main character and love rival to make them see that they’re being stupid. In this case how about more alone time with Miu-senpai? Some tender moments with her will be sure to bring out some much needed jealousy out of Airi! We’ll see where the series goes though. I’m kinda hoping someone like mangagamer will pick up this title and translate it. I’m like to see how faithful the anime is to the game.
