Summary:

After being discovered by Shingo and everyone, Airi reveals that she’s been living on her own since she started attending Yuijo. The reason why Airi has been leaving early was to attend part-time jobs and go market sales events. Sakuno asks Airi why she didn’t’ tell them and Airi comments that there wasn’t any way for her to tell them because she has an image as a model to maintain. As they continue to walk, they arrive near Airi’s apartment and stop on in, though Airi is initially adamant to let them see it.  Ange, Miu, and Sakuno start to prepare dinner in the kitchen and they all eat dinner. Airi asks everyone to keep her living alone a secret, and everyone agrees to.

The next day at school during lunch, Airi approaches everyone and asks to have lunch with them. Everyone stares at Airi’s bento, which consists entirely of cabbage, and gives her some of their own lunch. Shingo tells Airi that if she wants to she can join them for lunch everyday. After finishing their lunch Airi starts to talk to Shingo about tutoring him, and eventually it turns into everyone going to Airi’s to study for exams.  Everyone arrives at Airi’s and Miu-sempai brings a cake. The group starts spending the night going over the course material.

The next day the atmosphere of the class seems more cheerful and Ange comments that it’s due to Airi’s influence. Over the course of the week, they all continue going over to Airi’s to study. One night while walking around in town, Shingo comes across Miu-senpai during her part-time job. Miu is wearing a black dress and cat ears, and works at Maid Café Dolce for her job. Miu explains to him that because her club is still isn’t officially recognized she doesn’t have any funding so she takes the part-time job to fund the club. As they’re talking, Sana comes between them and starts yelling at Shingo that she won’t let him come close to Miu-sempai. Sana tells him to get away and comments it was a mistake to be nice to boys.

The next day Ange and Airi comment that Sana is showing her true colors since she hates boys, but for some reason she was being nice since the merger began. That night everyone goes to Airi’s to study as usual, but that night they surprise Airi with a cake in order to celebrate her birthday. Airi is surprised because even when she was living with her mother, they never celebrated her birthday. Shingo tells her that they just wanted to celebrate her birthday.

The next day, the exams have ended and they all discuss how they did in the cafeteria. Thanks to the study sessions, everyone seems to have done relatively ok. After school Airi is in the cafeteria and thinks about how it’s the first time she’s had a party on a job well done and how a lot of things have changed including herself and how it all happened after Shingo came. As she’s thinking, Shingo walks up to her to thank her for her help in studying and gives her some tea. Shingo and Airi walk home together, and she comments on how Shingo always laughs and tells him he’s mistaken if he thinks that things won’t get worse if he laughs. She also tells Shingo that it’s unfair, because she though her living conditions would be her weakness, but Shingo and everyone else never saw her as weak. Shingo tells her that everyone has a weakness, but Airi tells him that he’s always thoughtful and considerate of everyone’s feelings. Shingo tells her that that’s his weakness, because he does those things for himself because he can’t stand it when the mood is depressing; which is why he is the way he is and says that Airi and himself are a lot alike. Airi thanks him while blushing and the two go their separate ways.

Opinions:

Looks like Airi is starting to warm up to Shingo now; though on the other hand, Sana is taking over the role of the man-hater it seems. So it’s obvious that Sana is overprotective of Miu-sempai, and in the game I imagine she’s the main obstacle in Miu’s route. It looks like we’re finally at the point where Airi’s attitude towards Shingo will soften, and by next episode I’m sure she’ll be swooning for him.
