Summary:

At home Keima is eating dinner with his family as Elcea is watching the best new artist award going to Nakagawa Kanon. Elcea is super excited by this, and tells Keima excitedly that Kanon won. Keima seems uninterested and asks who that is. Keima tells Elcea that Idols are a thing of the past and this era belongs to video game idols as real idols age, but video game idols never change, and thus are ideal. The next day the whole schools excite as Nakagawa Kanon is coming back to school as she’s apparently a student where Keima goes to school at. Kanon is on the roof and talks to herself about how far she’s come and tells herself it’s ok to consider herself an idol now. As she’s about to leave, she notices Keima playing his PFP and tells him she didn’t know anyone else knew about this spot. Keima looks at her coldly and asks who she is. Kanon is shocked by this, and comments that there are people out there who don’t know who she is.  She then electrocutes Keima with a stun gun and asks him why he doesn’t know who she is while she weeps.

Elcea comes at that moment to ask Keima why he didn’t tell her that Kanon went to the same school as them, as Keima is in the same class as Kanon. Upon hearing this, Kanon shocks Keima again with her stun gun, and comments to herself that she isn’t an idol, but trash. She asks Keima for his name, and leaves. As she leaves, Elcea’s runaway spirit alarm goes off and it seems Kanon will be Keima’s next capture. The next day Kanon leaves a CD in Keima’s desk with a message for him to meet her on the roof. At the roof Kanon had speakers sett up and performs a concert for Keima and declares to him that she’ll defeat him. As Kanon sings “All 4 You” she comments to herself  that Keima makes her feel uneasy and that Keima is her enemy, that’s why she’ll definitely make him into her fan. But as she’s singing her heart out, Keima isn’t paying attention and continues playing his PFP. Kanon gets depressed again and is about to electrocute Keima again, but is saved by a phone call. Kanon needs to leave for a recording and leaves on a helicopter.

When Kanon leaves, Elcea asks him why he’s being so cold towards Kanon. Keima tells her that events that are too good to be true are death flags. If a girl chases after you, it’s a trap; especially for an idol who’s normally unapproachable. The next Kanon performs another concert for Keima and Keima sleeps through it. Kanon falls into despair again and says she’s no good and literally disappears.

Opinions:

Finally! Kanon’s story! My other favorite capture, Kanon! I first want to say that Kanon’s song “All 4 You” is pretty catchy; maybe they chose the seiyuu, Nao Toyama based her ability to sing? Don’t get me wrong, it doesn’t sound amazing, but it’s not bad. I assume they’ll come out with character songs for all the heroines and Elcea. If so, I’m pretty sure I’ll buy Kanon’s.  Second, it was kinda interesting turning Kanon’s stunguns into camoflaged stunguns with the whole “kitty” model. Given the current events in the manga, I really want the anime to catch up because things are getting REALLY interesting! I also love how this week’s preview picture is Kanon as done by August. There’s just something about it that seems right. I must make it into my wallpaper!
