Summary:

Kazuya wakes up in a hospital bed one morning, and finds that Satellizer asleep next to him. Kazuya apologizes for not being able to go to her room, but Satellizer tells him it’s ok since they were able to spend the whole night together, and tells him it was a wonderful “First Room Entry” and leaves.

Rana Linchen attends her first day at West Genetics and is assigned to Satellizer’s classroom. She introduces herself to the class and takes the seat next to Satellizer. She informs Satellizer that she was at the Recovery Center because Kazuya is her fated person. In the locker room, Rana learns that her Stigma will materialize clothes for her so she doesn’t need to change clothes. During training practice, Rana and Ganessa are paired off for some sparring as Satellizer watches from the sidelines. Ganessa brings out her chain Volt Weapon and goes all out from the start. Rana activates her Volt Weapon, which takes the form of gloves and boots and blocks Ganessa’s attack, and counterattacks with some fast kicks. Ganessa takes Rana more seriously and uses her 4 chains to attack Rana’s blind spots all at once. Rana notices she can’t evade and takes the attack, but Ganessa notes that none of the chains hit a vital spot. Ganessa goes to attack again, but Rana goes in dodging and parrying Ganessa’s chains and gets into close range. She comments to Ganessa that the best time to counter-attack is the moment after defending against the opponent’s special move and charges her fist, but the teacher instructs them to stop and tells the two that it was a good match. Looking at the duel from above, 2 Pandoras are commenting to Atia was righting in saying that Rana looked interesting, and Atia tells them that the details of “the plan” are final.

Elsewhere, Arthur and Kaho are once again trying to get Kazuya to reconsider his decision to become Satellizer’s Limiter, and tell Kazuya about in incident in East Genetics where Satellizer injured a Limiter to the point of being unable to be a Limiter anymore. The Limiter was a handsome and popular Limiter, and was apparently attacked by Satellizer for touching her. Satellizer was put under house arrest for a year for this incident and she transferred to West Genetics afterwards. While they’re talking, Rana comes over to join them and Kaho and Arthur make up an excuse and get up to leave the two alone. Kazuya and Rana get to talking, and Kazuya apologizes to her, as he didn’t realize she was his senpai and asks to call her senpai. Rana doesn’t like this and asks to Kazuya to continue calling her Rana and insists on calling him Kazuya; stating that Kazuya is a special person to her and gets close to him. Kazuya finally gives in just as Satellizer comes by. Satellizer asks Kazuya to come with her and Kazuya leaves with her.  As they leave, Atia comes over to Rana and tells Rana that Satellizer is using Kazuya.

Up on the roof, Satellizer is telling Kazuya that he can call her Satella, Kazuya feels uncomfortable calling her that, but Kazuya eventually gives in and calls her Satella-senpai. Satella blushes and asks if he wants to eat Burger Queen with her. Meanwhile Atia is telling Rana that Satellizer is using Kazuya for his ability to use Freezing without performing a baptism, while Kazuya ponder why Satellizer approves of him in his room.

After taking a shower, Satella finds Rana in her room. Rana asks Satella to come with her to the simulation room. There Rana asks Satella to break up with Kazuya. Satella refuses and walks away, but Rana grabs her shoulder and stops her and tells her not to run away.

Satella slaps her hand away and tells her not to touch her. The two decide to settle things with a duel. Meanwhile Kazuya is looking for Satella, but is informed that she went with Rana. Back with Rana and Satella, Satella tells Rana that when she wins Rana won’t ever talk about her and Kazuya again. Rana restates that when she wins Satella will break up with Kazuya. The two have already pulled out their Volt Weapons and are already exchanging blows. Satella starts using Accel Turn and manages to land a few hits on Rana. Rana activates her Stigma and it appears as if there are wings of light on her back. Satella uses Accel to close in again, but within 3 meters of Rana she’s hit by an invisible force. Rana tells her that she’s opened her Holy Gate, meaning she activated her Stigmas allowing her to efficiently distribute power throughout her body in order to make full use of her power. Satella tries Accel again, but Rana nails with her technique Fuuga. Satella tries to Accel again, but this time she accelerates while in the middle of her acceleration allow her to dodge Rana’s attack. Atia who’s watching from the control room recognizes the technique as Double Accel. Using Double Accel Stella launches a simultaneous attack from both sides. Satella uses Accel again and lands a blow to Rana’s left shoulder; with Satella’s sword stuck in her shoulder Rana uses Enga on Satella to finish her off. Rana tells her that if she knew about that technique, Satella would’ve been the victor. Atia looks at them in surprise and comments that they’re both too dangerous.

As Rana is about to leave, Satella gets up and declares it’s not over yet. Rana is surprised since her Enga should have crushed Satella’s ribs and organs, but yet she’s still able to get up. Satella tells her that she won’t lose regardless of who her opponent is. At that moment, Kazuya comes in and clears up the misunderstanding. Kazuya tells her that Satella is his partner and he’s the one who originally proposed the idea. At that moment, Atia, and two other Pandoras appear and announce that they’ll play with them.

Opinions:

This episode covers about chapters 13-16 of the manga.  I’m starting to get bored/bothered by the whole Satellizer is dangerous attitude at this point. I’m about as bothered by it as Kazuya is if not more so. Other than that, I’m happy that we’re making such fast progress through the story as my previous complaint shouldn’t be too much of an issue after next episode. Really looking forward to the fight scene next episode, and I’m kinda wishing the art around the important parts of the fanservice were done better. With next episode the epitome of girl fighting, it’s kind of a shame that the art for the fan service is at such a low level. Well, I’ll end this post by commenting on the omake image of this week. It’s pretty funny, and I love how they give Satella that evil oujosama look on her face with Kazuya stuck between her breasts. If Rana had a more flatter chest, I’m sure that’s how she must see the situation of Satella and Kazuya.
